hi all, wonder if any electrician can help, I have a switch which was supplied from Myford at beeston some time ago , not a dewhurst switch but a square plain forward and reverse switch , photos can be sent if required. I have had to take it apart to release the wiring from under the bench as the lathe is bench mounted, have taken note of the wiring, but a wire has flipped out from a capacitor which I do not know where I t goes, can anyone help please, thanks

Hi Peter, best take some pictures of the complete set-up and place in your album, details of the motor plate would also perhaps help, no point guessing what you have.

Anyone recognise the switch set-up shown in Peter's Album, more importantly where does the wire connect ?

If no one comes up with an answer it would be worth emailing the photos to Krauss and Naimer (look up for your country) it looks like one of their older pattern switches and quite possibly the disconnected wire is an internal one as supplied.

It is a bit more than a plain forward/reverse switch, it also incorporate's an NVR function.

I will have a look inside the one I have, tomorrow . Lynne
