"pre-moderated"

The words "pre-moderated" seem to have sudenly appeared on every posting. The problem is that one has no way of knowing if ones post has been submitted!

No, just keep an eye out on the forum to see when your post appears. They get approved when a moderator has the time to look and see if there are any awaiting approval, usually not too long a wait but as the forum is international and the Mods UK based it may take a while if a post is made in the early hours.

For clarity, all new members have their posts pre-moderated.

That message is actually letting you your post hasn't yet been approved and will disappear when it is.

Aha, just realised what's happened; my wife (Sue Hutchings) was checking my ME subscription (a birthday present to me) and I used an email from her to access the subscription number!

This is to stop spammers coming in and posting links and the like to business site so they can get free advertising as well as other things like that.

Sorry mods it is just that I am the moderator on the sister site Getwoodworking so have to do the same thing

I didn't realise there is a getwoodworking forum. If there is pre-moderation is there also moderation and post moderation?
