Is there an index anywhere for the digital archive?

I've just got the digital archive and would like to know if there is an index anywhere. Sometimes on the forum people reference a magazine by date and its very difficult to find it. Thank you

**LINK**

Hello- here’s a link to the index I use, which also has a link to one for Model Engineers Workshop. There are a few different index’s people host, others may recommend a different one? I don’t think there is an ‘official’ index though, if that was what you wanted. Don’t forget the digital archive doesn’t go back indefinitely, so the index will bring up earlier volumes than you can access!

If you have Access or Excel you can create your own index database with data from here. These covers up to 2017.

Thank you Richard and Thor that's most helpful. The first one seems the easiest to use, I don't have Access or Excel. It's a pity ME have never made an 'OFFICIAL' index because they did publish one every year. How about it ME?

The magazines are in reverse date order. Hover your mouse over one and the issue date will appear. For MEW it's roughly 18 months to a page so if you need to skip back six years, jump four pages - it doesn't take long to find an issue that way. About nine months for ME.

You could suggest that to Diane when she returns - although she may want a while to get back up to speed!

I will look into getting PDFs of the MEW indexes for the last few years online (I don't have access far back).

Thanks Neil. i didn't know about hovering the mouse over , tried it and it gives you the date but not the year. The index works the best - the one Richard gave me a link to.

Depends who uploaded the issue as some have the year and others don't.
