Getting to the Motion details, and am between rock and hard place

Do i spend hours making a lot of scrap, creating a new urban dictionary of obscene language, or bite the bullet and outshop a couple of parts to a small firm who wont want a second mortgage, thus allowing me to get on with the bits i know i can do.

So anyone out there gone down this route and got some eccentric and radius rod for a 5in loco CNC cut. and could recommend anyone that doesnt involve the slaughtering of a local sheep?

It is the square slots, centre line offsets and small half circles i know that i will make a ricket of monumental proportions, esp if i get one part right and then bugger up the rest.

Thanks in advance

Hi, I also could use a contact like that that can make small parts and small 'one offs' for a reasonable price. I often need something done that is noy viable in terms of my time or skill level.

I also have some ideas of my own design tools that CNC would possibly make viable, again for smallish production runs..

Cheers Martin

Somewhere like Model Engineers Laser won't charge the earth for laser cut blanks that you finish and do jobs like this all the time.

.

I am a customer of Malcolms and reaaly appreciate his work. however i think that his eqpy wont cover the thickness of the radius rod, plud i need two slots cut in different planes .

He has already amended one of my drawings as i requested too thick a blank.

Chap is a real gent
