![]() 2947 forum posts 468 photos | With all the hoo ha in the media about ensuring all web sites have the security padlock in their address bar, how come the MEW doesn't have one in its address bar, all it shows is an information icon that informs you that the connection to the site is not encrypted, have MTM not bothered, will they do so in the near future ? |

453 forum posts 1 photos | This section of the site does not need encryption, if you go to the subscription section then you will see the safety padlock. So, yes it is encrypted where it needs to be. |

So, yes it is encrypted where it needs to be. It would be safer if the login page was also through a secure connection, as users might (unwisely) use the same user names and passwords elsewhere. Brian |
