does any one know a source of supply of 5 BA bolts or similar sized bolts with some plain unthreaded shank ? Or have I got to make my own .

As far as I know all of EKP's ones are fully threaded, at least all the ones I have bought are and I have all the lengths they do. That is why they call them screws and not bolts.

BA Bolt sell some part threaded hex bolts see bottom of page but only do the prefered even numbers

thanks , I will check out some of them , The only ones I have found yet are set screws , ie fully threaded

You could ask Mark at BA Bolts if he would be prepared do some for you. I guess it would depend on how many you want and how much you were prepared to pay.
