There were some very nice branded specialist socket set tools at reasonable prices and ghastly old blacksmith's drills at similar prices. I suppose that for anything in reasonable condition, it's easiest just to put a price on it and see what happens. |

1826 forum posts 1 photos | Full retail seems to be about £4.50 a piece, buy a box of ten at trade Profit!! Proper 'old' tool shops seem to be a vanishing breed, there used to be a good one in Frome, but a relative says it has gone. Local Antique Fairs can be a good source of quality old tools but you need to be lucky on the day and be wary of values.
