Hello All. I have been a member of this site for a number of years without queries or contributions and learned a great deal. I have tried on a few occasions to post comments without success. Trying again, I have had to re-register to login but now I might be successful.

I have a reasonable Workshop, (Myford, Warco VMC) and a number of accessories made/collected over the years.

I will now post this and if it works, I can come back with a query on which I am sure, someone can enlighten me.

Hello Again.

So far so good. Thanks for the welcome.

Reading posts on this forum over the last year or two, I have been steered toward some interesting you-tube videos showing other builders work. A few months ago, between projects I decided to use my new compact camera and attempt a couple of my own videos and post them to you-tube. This seemed to work, the videos were the sort that I like to watch when made by others but they have had very few views.

My query is what am I doing wrong (or not doing right). I will attempt to post a link to the appropriate page and would appreciate any comments.

**LINK**

That didn't work quite as I had hoped but should be enough to get there.

Thanks in anticipation.

Eric T.

Hi Eric, I am in Driffield with a workshop in Langtoft, I am not a modelmaker, but into machine tools, and making things with them. I have a Colchester student, and Covmac lathes, Harrison H mill with V head, a Raglan v mill in bits, and an alba No1 shaper. Workshop in semi use at the moment because I have spent the last couple of years remodeling it! Nearly finished! also have forge, brazing hearth, (near future projects) and tig and mig welders. If you need owt, gi us a shout!

Phil.

Hello again.

Many thanks for the comments. The videos seem to have been viewed more in the last couple of days than the previous 6 months. That should tell me something.

Phil. In response to your suggestion, I haven't posted links anywhere except the one here. I just uploaded them to YouTube and assumed that they would appear alongside videos showing similar content, obviously not.

This response is encouraging and I may have a go at some more.

Thanks again.

Eric T.
