Hello all,

Interested in anything to do with engineering. Seem to have spent a lot of time making workshop equipment and not enough time making models! Have a gauge 1 loco on the go - maybe finished one day. Several stationary engines too. Also a lifelong interest in electronics.

Workshop equipment: Myford S7B, Sharp mill (both with Shumatech home built DROs) and venerable Fobco bench drill. All converted to 3 phase with inverter drives.

Welcome!

There is quitea lot of Gauge 1 activity near you: I run the Surrey G1MRA local group. See here **LINK** for general info and here **LINK** for newsletters if you'd like to know what we get up to.

"Seem to have spent a lot of time making workshop equipment and not enough time making models!"

Me to Peter - Its what you enjoy that counts though. We used to stay at The Bear in Esher when the ME show was at Sandown - something we both used to look forward to. A stroll down the main street looking at the eye popping prices in the estate agents was a must (purely for laughs of course) ......Rik

Yes Rik, that was handy when we could walk to the ME exhibition! Not the greatest of venues though.
