The above photo's are of a motor and impeller from a dismantled grinder dust extractor cabinet. The cabinet is too heavy for me to use it but the motor is a capacitor start job in excellent condition. I would like to recover it but the method used to mount it has me totally foxed. The three complete circumferential holes and the central one are internally threaded - unknown pitch/ LH, RH???. There appears to be a key of sorts on the central shaft. Have any members come across similar fixings or any suggestions as to how to start the removal process, please? If all else fails, I'm considering chain drilling and general savagery!! rgds Bill |

![]() 1257 forum posts 264 photos | It's a taper lock bush. It is missing the screws normally allen head grub screws. Two screws hold it on and the third is a jacking screw to remove it. See Fenner for more info. John |
