![]() 93 forum posts 20 photos | Hi again. I have ordered the beast from Mr Warco and I was hoping that if any kindly owner of a WM250 vf could oblige me with a measurement from their machine. I am building a new bench and want to get the height near enough so I would like the height from the top of the bench to the hand wheel for the carriage please. I am sure I asked before in the forum but I can't find the posting. Many thanks in advance Martin

![]() 1494 forum posts 403 photos | Martin - Top of the bench to centre of hand wheel is 110mm. I am 6ft tall and hand wheel centre is 1015mm above workshop floor. I built the bench like this so I do not have to stoop. Might be worth mentioning that my bench is on heavy duty castors and fixed to the wall by steel brackets which can quickly be unscrewed. This allows bench/lathe to be pulled away from the wall - carefully - for maintenance purposes (this has already paid of on several occasions.) Hope this helps. Rik
