![]() 6 forum posts | Hello my name is Gerald I have recently retired from running a joinery works, my interests include classic motorcycles of which I have four, I also have a 00 gauge model railway and like caravanning with my wife in the summer ( or what goes for summer ). I chose to go into live steam as an extension of my previous modelling of aircraft boats and 00 gauge. The last time I did any work in metal other than my motorcycles was about 40 years ago. I have recently spent my time setting up my workshop and buying all my tooling, although I doubt I have everything I will need. Well off to make a lubricator for my chosen first model, being LBSC's Rose. Wishing you all well. |

Bear in mind some things have changed since LBSC's day, not least a fully silver soldered boiler will be recommended - best find and talk to a club tester if you can. Lots of help will be found here though. Neil |

This looks like a great little loco to build, I have started designing Rose in Solidworks with an all Metric conversion. I hope to have this complete fairly soon. Good luck with the build! Ryan |
