22 forum posts | I am planning to use a hydrostatic lubricator on my 5" gauge 2-8-0.
Can anyone tell me where to get a small quantity of glass tube about 1/2" to 3/8" in diameter. I cannot find it any of the suppliers lists. |

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | Maurice at 1/4" you can roll it on the bench with a stanley knife blade held where you want the cut, this will score the surface all round much like a glass cutter, you can then snap the tube. If you have one then a wet diamond tile saw works well on the larger diameters too. J |

87 forum posts | Good Morning All I am told by one of our members who is a keen fan of the Great Way Round that Perspex tube with a 2mm wall works well and is readily available on Ebay. Never tried it myself but intend to fit hydrostatic lubricators to my Pansy. Regards Peter |
