Gentlemen,

I've followed this series about as far back as I can go, it starts on BBC4 at 20:00 tonight and is about electricals.

I too have followed this series for a long number of years, and eagerly watched last night's program.

I didn't find it as interesting as previous series have been, maybe tonight will be better. But what concerned me was that there were at least two errors in the program. The first was the electric motor switching something on/off - they omitted to point out that the motor had to be reversed each time - the photos actually clearly showed this happening. The second was when the green balloon, of the three balloons on stands, failed to burst. Was this a programming error? Or did it fail completely?

I also thought that sending the young lad out to play a game was somewhat silly. Ok it showed a point, a procedure perhaps, but a bit silly non-the-less.
