Probably the latter, but I fear far worse - more like a vision of squabbling bigoted rabble who need to have something more important to worry about.

Neil,

I think this post has run it's course and that it's the only non MEW / ME related post on the first page but as long as it stays here it will be a magnet to continue a lost cause.

As you started the thread I feel it would be best if you removed it ?

This way we get back to how the forum used to run and run very well.

I think as moderators we are all broadly agreed on that.

I will lock the thread so people can see the discussion is complete, but don't feel their comments have been swept aside.
