Metalworking files - Guidance required please

I suppose if you could get one of the files with the files with the 35mm or 40mm cutting length then you could just chop of part of the 100mm long handle to get the 2.5" O/A length you want.

Something like the LE3014-40-6 would do.

Talking to H S Walsh I am told that they are known as 'second hole files.' They only have round and square

Edit: Using the correct search term quickly located this little gem:

The Bergeon Assortment of 12 round second hole files come with a round profile and are ued to file second hands. They too come encased in a steel tube. "

looks like they no longer make 3 square files of the type your looking for. Would the 100mm total length vallorbe with 2.8mm across flats not do ,only around 0.4 mm difference in cross section.
