Hi Dave,

Yes, you will be able to buy a ticket during the show for the following day in order to avoid the queues in the morning. If you have any problems then please ask for myself at either the main entrance in Hall 2 or at the reception desk near the entrance to Hall 1.

Regards,

Gavin

Talking about avoiding queues, last time I travelled up to visit the Harrogate show I ended up in the pouring rain for nearly an hour. This was a few years ago. As I will be on holiday in Yorkshire this year I tried to buy an advance ticket, no such luck. It seems that you can only buy an advance ticket if you can say exactly what day you will visit and you need to have internet connection and a printer to print your ticket!!. Not something I have in my caravan.

All advance tickets I have bought over the years have been valid for any show day, wonder why Harrogate are different?

Regards to all,

Chris.

Chris, don't worry about the ticket date although it's not clear on the sale site I took this up with the organiser when this first showed up and was assured that you will still gain entry on any day thus can only assume it's just to give them some indication of the numbers expected on each day even if some of us change our minds .

regards John

John, thanks for your reply, I feel a bit happier now. It's just about the weather, if it is really nice I can see that swmbo will want to go visiting Homes and Gardens.

Regards,

Chris.

Hi David,

For gardens, you might want to take a look at the RHS "Harlow Carr" gardens. "Betty's" have a tea room and restaurant on site there. Just north of York is the National Arboretum. Just in case you need any concessions in the negotiations laugh.

Hi Steve,

the garden sounds good as does the tea room. I think Therese will find lots to do it Harrogate while I'm at the exhibition. Well today is the big day, we leave for the airport in a couple of hours (Sydney) then off to Dublin with a couple of changes (Bangkok and Dubai) so it will be a very long day ahead.

Cheers and see you there! Dave
