Evening all.

At the last count we have just short of 60 traders booked in for Doncaster so should be worth a visit. I'll be updating the traders on the website in the next 24hrs.

From the trade leaflet (cut-out above) the light green shows the trade stand locations and the darker olive green is club displays etc. There is an additional exhibition room upstairs which also leads from/to the large café/restaurant area. Both are accessible by escalators or lifts.

Hi Michael,

For info we accept all models into competition at our exhibition in Harrogate. Usual categories are Locomotives, Road Vehicles, Stationary engines, Workshop equipment, Boats (kit and scratch built), Fairground models, Meccanno, Model Wheelwrights and we also a category for young engineers 16 and under. For anything that doesn't fit into the above categories we have a Miscellaneous section. Judging takes place on the Friday.

Unfortunately we can not offer a return service for any exhibitor models for logistical reasons and models need to be displayed for the duration of the exhibition in order to maintain the consistency of the show for all those attending.

It is unfortunate that your local club does not have a stand this year, are there any neighbouring clubs that do attend? A list of the clubs that attended last year is available on the website, this will be updated shortly with those confirmed for this year. If you wanted to let me know where abouts in the country you are I could forward you information about the clubs in your area.

Hi Dave,

Yes, you will be able to buy a ticket during the show for the following day in order to avoid the queues in the morning. If you have any problems then please ask for myself at either the main entrance in Hall 2 or at the reception desk near the entrance to Hall 1.

I can confirm that the 2014 National Model Engineering & Modelling Exhibition will be taking place at the Harrogate Showground from the 9th to the 11th May '2014'.
