Hi
If you have an angle plate with square sides fit a fence . slide job to fence & clamp
I know it does not apply here but on Mag chuck on grinder again put angle plate on its side offer job up to it switch chuck on clamp . switch off and the jobs ready to go

AS  mentioned on anglesthis thread .  slips/ gauge blocks can be used with sine bar to set correct angles

Having marked the job out. On a drill or mill you can line up the lines using a sticky pin running true in the drill chuck then center drill etc On the drill when lined up clamp in place then center drill On the mill job should already clamped down as you can move the tables and use the micrometer dials . this is for home shop not in the tool room

Hi Guys
I find that parting from the back eliminates back lash as the lead screw is pushed on to the nut when parting off
Also any problems the tool digs out not in.

Turn up a a button say 3/8" dia with a 5 mm dia spigot to fit hole. Part off to leave say 1/4" then on the milling M/C
ass button into plate clamped on bed then you can clock button with dti in chuck when on center remove clock and button fit 7 mm drill . Job done . I have many like this they come in handy
