You may think it’s the last thing you would do but just look at you tube videos and see how many people have got bits of fingers missing and just recently someone on here mentioned some one injuring themselves. So please don’t be that person who would never make that mistake. |

I used to own a velo and it had flat belt drive for the dynamo, I had it made in Norwich ( local to me ) by a transmission company . It was scarfed and vulcanised and I ran the bike for years with no trouble. The material was green on the outside and black inside. Haley’s might be a good place to start. |

My that’s a fair old thing to get your hand caught in if the lathe is turned on. Why not have a single handled version that can idle so accidents can’t happen. |

The float in my Indian is of rhoacell type material and has been in rhe carb for 8 years now. It was 3d machined and cost me the princely sum of about £30, absolute bargain!! |

Surely ceramic ball races were originally introduced for gas turbines as the hey coped with the dirty atmosphere that the engine breathed. Ceramic balls crush the foreign bodies where steel balls skid. |

gun black is very fussy about cleanliness, I got better results with a hot soda bath first ( do not touch the parts with your hands). But nothing beats the black it kit. |
