I have to disassemble the spindle then this unfortunately was a little crooked. So it can be when buying used items.
This machine is available under a variety of names.
So if anyone can help me with instructions to mount the spindle down without ruining anything, I would be happy.

imag0376.jpgimag0375.jpgimag0374.jpgimag0373.jpgimag0372.jpgHi
I assemble my DRO, which became the Christmas present to myself.
Works perfect. Both accuracy and repeatability, and hysteresis is so good you could wish for.
And it's bought from China for £ 200. But no Rubbish, it was in all cases not.
And the same functions as those of the 850 pounds that I worked with before

Oxan floor oil is the outstanding for concrete floor.

We hav used that since 1980 for our machine shot at school.

Easy to repar and strog. Stands for welding too.

And what thread for the drain taps?

Growing up with millimeter so I need advice.

Thread: Planet CNCUSB software

Yes you have many intelligent questions and lots of experience.
If I have put it quite that there controler bords even for USB for Mach3 or?
Feels a little crazy to buy the controller with parallel port, as soon as there is on any computer anymore

OK John

Dont you think that pocket fult is solved now, thereis a lot of updates made.

A thing i liked very mych is the automatic toll hight calibration in the home point. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToeWsqf7Dhs)

I hav not find that in Mach3.

I have not used Mach3 so much, but I and my students have converted a smal mill to cnc as a project.

There we used mach3 and tha thougt it was difficult to set up. But it can be that we dont have read the big manual carely enough.

I want a software which is simple to use, cheep, but can do all things you need for a mill, lathe and a router.

Im not interested in making anny programing into the software, so for me it isent a need for open source.

But it must be safe, no broken tools.

Hi

Harold I think about the one in the book "Milling a complete course".

Im not a member of the bristol modellenginners so I could not open the drawing page.

So howe to by the Colyer/Caseley cutter grinder drawing then.

Thanks

Harold

I have looked at your sanding block many many times in the grinding book. but thought it looked a bit too weak out.
But now understand that it is not so.
So I am considering making it along with the accessories.
Maybe I enhances the foot with a micrometer adjustment.
