I once bought a 6 inch adjustable spanner made of chocolate for my father in a chocalate shop in France. So that my mother was not left out I bought some chocolate coffee beans. Some days later she said will you have a look at my coffee grinder it is all blocked up and those coffee beans were all soft so I threw them away. We still laugh about it now. Also the spanner was just as expensive as a bahco spanner. BrianBrian |

People pointed out the adverts appearing over the text of messages making them unreadable. People said it was difficult to post photos add links and various other points. But nothing was ever done to change these things so why wouldn't they moan and complain. Rant over. I still love this forum not the site. Brian |

I use the magnets from ikea. They are about three inches long and only cost £1.99 each so I have one on all machines. They have a plastic cover in various colours so easy to remove any swarf. I believe they are in the kitchen department and they are very strong. Easily holds up spanners and chuck keys. But yes they do magnetise slightly so go to pound land and get yourself a demagnetiser can't remember how much they cost. Bri |
