hi I have bought a incomplete air rifle stock duplicator it’s all done apart from the part that holds the wood and stock to be duplicated so they stay in the same place and turn identically as and when needed. The first pic should be what I have now the second pic show what I need or something similar has anyone any idea how I could do this please
thank you neil

I am in the middle of restoring my Drummond b lathe and I was wondering if you can have a speed controller on a 240volt single phase ac motor at all as I use to use a cj18a mini lathe and you could control the speed on that one

Hi all I am making an end silencer for an air rifle and I have joined the 2 pieces of metal together the top piece is steel and the bottom piece is aluminium. It has bolts securing it but I was wondering is there anything that’s like a mastic or filler that I could run a small bead of it along either side so that the screws in between can not be seen
thank you in advance

Thread: Mini lathe amadeal cj18a help needed |
15/01/2020 20:54:18 |
As you say I have always had good correspondence from them and I received a reply today they are sending me the part out free so a good service from these yet again I would buy from them again. Saying that I keep buying other parts for the lathe cutters threaders etc so without a doubt a good company to deal with
thank you everyone |

Thread: Mini lathe amadeal cj18a help needed |
14/01/2020 13:57:34 |
Hi I’m a beginner but all I was doing was reducing the size of a piece of delrin rod by doing 1-2mm off at a time and all of a sudden it stopped I am presuming it was the same thing happening again I will check it later on again. The lathe has only been used a few times for light work that is why I can not understand why it has done this. I got 2 off the plastic bits when I ordered one last time so if it is that again I will replace and see if it does it again. I have emailed amadeal when it first happened and got no reply and I have emailed again last night so see if they reply when I was looking to buy it they where very responsive with messages I just hope they get back to me now
thank you for your reply |
