Thread: Netflix subscriptions
10/12/2019 09:28:52

Had a couple of emails to say netflix won't accept payments through Google Pay anymore and to update my payment method, also email from Google Pay and my netflix account says only 2 days left to update payment, am I right to be suspicious?

Thread: Aldi Metal Bandsaw

Should say it is a Milwauke saw not an Aldi. It was 1.25" square bar went through nice and steady, tried to keep the base simple, yours should cope just as good I just like the Milwauke equipment, saw cost £230 battery and charger was extra, total cost around £300 its dearer than the Aldi version I suspect but wanted the back up of a big player in the portable equipment scene.

Good luck with yours Graham

On/off switch gave up the ghost on my Warco WM14 mill, when pressed to turn on will not stay engaged, if I keep my finger pressed on it will run but taking finger off shuts motor down all other stops etc work okay so presume it is just switch, ordered new one

Hi Lainchy,

That is spooky my Gramps making Petrolea and he passed in 82 also, currently I am making Rob Roy will I ever finish it !?. Recently got into Suffolk lawnmower engines and that started when in the darkest corner of workshop I found a 1950's engine that Gramp had fitted to a home made circular saw table, I now have 3 engines 2x 75cc and a 98cc.and that won't be the end of the collection

My Gramps brought me up and I spent my childhood with him in his workshop and at his work as a signwriter, I have a Brylcream jar which has some mixture of polish in it, this resides in my workshop and a sniff takes me back to the 1950's and all is well with the world and before anyone mentions health issues I have been sniffing since 1982 when he died and I am still here to tell the tale at my mid 70's oh and just a quick sniff now and then

Thread: water supply
16/06/2019 09:13:34

We are surrounded by lots of water, ships can make fresh water from salt water, big mistake is not investing in de salienation plants , as I understand it as you cannot destroy water there is the same amount now as there has always been, thats my opinion right or wrong 🚾
