Viewing problem with IE8, try moving up to IE9, it's free.You can restore back to IE8, if you set a restore date on your PC. IE9 has certainly worked well on XP for me. Now I'm on Win 7. Regards Bear.. |

Have you got a similar runout when using a decent chuck? If you put a sturdy bar in the chuck with six or more inches sticking out (Motor NOT running) grasp the bar and check for movement, towards and away from yourself. With bearings costing that much money, they should be very robust. |

Re: Chester lathe, I think you would be very lucky to get away with a single diode/component. You need to check all the semiconductors for short circuit, at least. You can source all your components on good old ebay, no minimum order charges etc. Can you rule your motor out? It may have a leak to earth. Good luck! |

All OK here on Windows 7 (64 Bit) and IE 9. Had problems with another forum this month; Weihrauch owners club, lots of members couldn't access it, whilst others had no problems. (Air Rifles not dogs). Talking of Stickys, The above forum has some very good ones, ideal for new members etc. Regards Bear..
