Hi All,

Has anyone any experience of using one of these units for annealing or hardening metals?

I very much enjoy reading the various topic's discussed on the forum, what I find annoying is when someone adds a thread which is completely off topic to the current topic.

It then has to be dragged back to the original topic, as has already been stated you do not have to read thread's you are not interested in.

Also very disappointed that Gary's My Little Engine thread will no longer be added to because of negative comments made by other's.

Bill, if you go to the Little Machine Shop website, they have an instruction manual for the Sieg C3 with a wiring diagram included.

I do not know if it shows enough detail for you to sort out where the wires should go.

Thank you Trevor, I really appreciate the trouble you are going to, if you cannot find anyone willing to accept the paint, I think a change of colour might be required.

Once again thank you for all the replies, Trevor I would like to get the paint in the near future, so if it is possible to find a courier willing to accept the paint, I would be obliged if it could be sent.

I need the paint for a Simat 101 lathe, and would like to keep the colour original.

Hi All,

Can anyone suggest a source of a small amount of Hammerite Mid Green hammer finish paint.

It seem's that Hammerite no longer sell it, I have scoured the internet, but cannot find anyone selling it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I purchased a Simat 101 today and this was included, what is it used for.

Fine wire wool might be worth a try.

Hi if you search on YouTube I very quickly found 4 clips of people making repairs to various makes of dial indicators.

This might help you understand how they are dismantled

Or would it not be easier to weld a narrower section onto the underside of the existing blades?

Not sure how to put youtube links on the forum, but if you look at the tradetools tv review of a re-badged version of the drill sharpener, he states you should reset the drill after sharpening.

Hi Andy,

I also bought one in the end, very pleased with it, but before you grind the clearance angle, you need to reset the drill position in the holder again.

Hi All, does anyone own or have any knowledge of the Holzmann BSG 13E drill sharpener,being sold on eBay For £59.95, states it has a die-cast chassis and weighs 2.5Kg.

Thank you for the replies, sorry meant to write cheesehead, but put crosshead instead.

I just had another search on eBay and found some 2'' ones.

They are for an old Greeves motorcycle.

Can anyone help with a source for 1 BA crosshead screws 11/4'' long in steel.

I have searched all the suppliers I know, and searched on google with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Could you clamp a bar across the middle, then mill each side of it?
