Warco WM-16 and Vertex HV6 Rotary Table

252 forum posts 68 photos | From my other thread you can see I spent a long time agonising over which rotary table to buy for my WM-16 mill. In the end I went for the vertex HV6 and a chuck from Warco (HV4 ROTARY TABLE CHUCK & BACKPLATE - 80MM 3 JAW : code 9112. They do a bigger one if you think you might need it. The chuck comes with an arbour to keep it central to the table). Worse case mounting clearing is in vertical mode , and in this case you have about 25cm to the chuck axis. Horizontal is more room with about 27 cm to the rotary table top surface (not including chuck). The photographs all show the mill and table with a 30cm ruler. Mounting seems nice and solid using t-bolts and 10mm studding that aligned nicely with the WM-16 slots and the slots in the rotary table (in both horizonal and vertical mode) . I hope this helps someone else with their decision making. For me it was the correct choice, you of course may be different …..
