54 forum posts | I have read the latest article on the nibbler which I think is very good, Only one thing seem wrong, The mention of the 3/8" X 20TPI thread it should normally be either 3/8" X 24TPI or on bigger drills 1/2 X 20 TPI 3/8" X 20 Is BSF and not the standard 3/8 and 1/2 UNF threads Regards John B Typo Edited By John Stevenson on 07/05/2014 19:17:21 |

555 forum posts 27 photos | Hi John, I cannot check at the moment but I think it should read 1/2" x 20 TPI for the drill I used. Thanks for pointing out the mistake. Kind regards Mike

![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | I've just checked a couple of my chucks, and yes it is 3/8" x 24 and 1/2" x 20. I've made enough adaptors for tehse things, I should have spotted it. A very ingenious use of the nibbler, having cut a few inches off the end of a stainless steel sink with a hand cutter (the type that make s a coil about 1/8" wide) so it would fit in a camper, I can see many benefits.
