30 forum posts 8 photos | I also use Metalfast (or ThyssenKrupp as they are now known) but have recently started using Shropshire Stainless & Aluminium www.ssaltd.net . Not sure whether they will deal without an account, but they are very keenly priced on sawn plate. Dave |

![]() 337 forum posts 107 photos | I've used them both in the past and very good the are, but neither do 7075 or 2014 in 6mm or 1/4 plate. Another good supplier is the Aluminium wharehouse, but again they don't do the above.

As a matter of interest for all concerned: Up to 6mm (excluding foil or shim) is designated "Sheet" Above 6mm is designated "Plate" Len.P

Andrew Perhaps the web site need updating, when I rang them and Smiths 10mm was the best they could do in the sizes I wanted, anyhow I've sorted it for now, I sliced a couple of bits off a lump of 3" plate I have, it will get me away until I get supply. |
