Emma Victoria - small drawing error

I have noticed a small discrepancy between the Drop Arm and the Crosshead.

The Drop Arm, ME4459 page 50, shows 3 holes of No 34, a 6BA clearance.

The Crosshead. ME4465 page 459, shows 2 8BA along the bottom edge.

The extra hole is a simple addition but the hole size might catch someone out.

Thank you for pointing out the hole size error on the drop arm for Emma-Victoria, these should be No.44 not No.34, a close fit for 8 BA fixings as indicated in the write up. The third hole as you say being an extra fixing point at assy. with the crosshead.

Been looking at the "Emma Victoria" as a first loco, and not being a ME subscriber I wonder how many back issues I would have to buy to get the complete series? Anyone know when the first one came out?

It looks like the 30 November 2012?

4475 has the 16th part and its not finished yet. May be easier to take out a Digital or Print Plus Subscription and be able to view the series here.

I'll have to check to make sure I can get a subscription that starts with the first one (I have read some of the horror stories about the MTM subscription policies...)

I have now looked into the digital subscription details - and it appears that if I subscribe, and get (for instance) the first issue the series appears in - 4444 - I will only be able to continue to see this issue if I continue to renew my digital subscription every year??

I seem to remember reading something about this (the horror stories I mentioned) is this actually the case still?

I know you can keep the downloaded digital subscriptions but these start from the date you subscribe - it doesn't seem I can ask for them to start at issue 4444?

You are correct

The issues that you download through Pocketmags start with the issue that is published after your registration.

Access to the online-archive is only possible if you have a valid digital subscription.
