These people are... (insert expletive here) I ordered just one 6206 C2 RHP bearing from them Monday, September 2nd, despite them charging me £8.50 postage for "Next day delivery" I eventually had the bearing 13th September...... I did ask for a refund of their "next day postage" only to be told that the £8.50 "next day postage" is their standard min shipping charge?.

I had to make/send repeated calls and emails no contact from them to say there was a problem until I asked.....

If you do need one again Arc Euro are very prompt and Ketan started out specialising in bearings.

Gray's estimate of cost is right within pence.

The 6206 as you gents quite rightly point out is a commonplace item until you want one that is C2 spec frown

Contact Ketan at Arc, I would be surprised if he can't source you the tighter spec quickly and cheaper than you expect.

.. or maybe not, standard, C3 & C4 are common but C2 looks hard to get!

Not tried Motion Components yet but noted for the future.

Our local bearing supplier Hayley (Wales) had "trouble" with the difference between bearing standards and tried to palm me off with a C3 insisting it would be OK....the one fellow there also tried to blag me saying if it has no markings it's a "standard fit" bearing same as a C2.... you can see why I dont go there very often.....

The 6206 C2 bearing is listed as an RHP on the Hardinge site at £18 + shipping and VAT, what eventually turned up was an SKF so I could have bought from Motion and saved a tenner and possibly the wait..... it gets worse.

I never gave Ketan a thought for this, I have noted though that he sells some "unusual" Magneto bearings, I will ask him the question next time.

Thanks

Paul
