I have got it freed but shaft now moves so it catches the casing. Its the early clutch with the light spring in and a cone. I have found i could not sort from the book and is totaly puzeling so now need some one who understands the early clutches. Phone Tony at Lates uk very helpfull but did not know about this early one also phoned Myford who sent me to Tony. Their is no Number on my Lathe so cannot give model number. It does not have a gearbox but does have screwcutting. Can any one suggest anyone i live in Tamworth Stafordshire Regards Ron |

1504 forum posts 142 photos | How about Darren Boden and Peter Sells, the ex-Myford guys, who are well regarded for their servicing, who set up on their own after the company closed down. They are based near Beeston, so just a ride down the A42/M42 to Tamworth. email [email protected] or phone 0115 9399360 / 07790364189 for Darren 0115 9398712 / 07787130620 for Peter Phil Edited By Robbo on 04/09/2013 14:20:25 |
