I have a Cylindrical and a surface grinder both of which are intended for wet grinding.

Can someone advise what 'coolant' I should be using.

thanks

Graeme

We use 2-5% soluble oil. ...as flood coolant..most soluble oils include tables for grinding. .
Too strong and the wheels load.too weak and machine/parts rust..parts can still rust in minutes so dry immediately. ..also if possible spin dry wheels after use...
