Hello I have a 1232 lathe from warco, just about 1 year old, 8 months ago I noticed an oil leak on the bottem of the apron, would anyone know how to fix this probleme, not to sure exactly where the oil is leaking from.

regards Trevor Jenkins.

Check the oil drain plug on the bottom of the apron, also the seal around the oil level sight glass.

Also if it's anything like my GH1330 from the same stable, any parts that are attached to the apron have their bolt holes drilled right through the casting, so check that all mounting bolts are tight.

My 280 leaks from the apron and gearbox, the swarf soaks up what comes out the apron and what comes out the gearbox drips into the cupboard and keeps the rust away from the chucks etc stored in there. Just top it up regularly.
