Guess that would be these people http://uk.emc.com/index.htm big US corporate provider of SAN equipment, think they've 'owned' the name a little longer than Enhanced Machine Control has been in existence. I always wondered how long it would be before they had to change the name indecision

Whatever it is called - it's an incredible bit of software.

It took me a bit of time to get my head around all the bits and pieces; now that I understand what is going on, one realizes just how flexible it is. I'm glad I went LinuxCNC over some of the other solutions, and the price is right!

(have CNC 4-axis mill, joypad input device, and now a CNC4PC MPG Pendant - looking at CNCing one of my lathes next)
