![]() 1946 forum posts 179 photos | I was looking at the scanned issues of the now defunct ''World of Model Engineering'' magazines and noted with some dismay that issues 1 to 4 are missing as are parts 1 and 2 of issue 7. Were these missing parts ever scanned, if not, will they be? Are there any later issues to be added or not? Does anyone know or is it to be a mystery. Best regards Terry |

188 forum posts 1 photos | Terry, I am pretty sure numbers 1 to 7 were all scanned, and were available for download some time ago - I have these, and the only place I would have downloaded them from was the ME site. I noticed they had disappeared some time ago, and asked DC about it - if I remember rightly, there was a vague reply that I should search on the Web for them. I also have copies of ME Centennial nos 1,2,3,4 and 7,8,9, also downloaded from this site, but now I see most of these have disappeared. Perhaps DC can enlighten us - IMO they are more interesting (and better value for money ![]() I also note that my original download of the ME Centennial no 2 runs to something like page 97, so I have all the articles listed in the index, but the download now available for no 2 (the only one), stops at page 51 - bummer if you haven't already got it. Just seen no 3 is also available - hadn't checked it - it was on a different page of downloads Edited By wotsit on 29/01/2012 17:27:51 Edited By wotsit on 29/01/2012 17:31:08 |

They are all there if you look.
I only had 1 to 7 of World of Model Engineering.
I don't know how many were published.
Do you?
regards David

188 forum posts 1 photos | My apologies DC - I think either I had a senior moment, or I looked in the wrong place - I just looked again and you are right (I could swear they weren't there when I looked last time, mutter, mutter..........) As far as I know, there were only 7 or 8 issues, but I cannot be certain. I didn't take them when they were first published, just picked one up now and again (and never kept them), but I cannot remember there being many) . The ME Centennial 2, pt2, is still truncated - it seems to end at page 51. Is it possible to check this (or should I go off and have a mumble somewhere.....) |

Maybe someone clicked a few boxes.
I was asked to remove a lot of content by someone who has left the company.
I have been re-enabling it a few articles when I have time.
There is much more still there, I just have to find how to acess it as it is uploaded as files.
Sally is there and so is Trethick.
I just need to enable it.
