Hello All,

I wonder if there is anyone out there who can help me. Having recently bought a Myford VM-B milling machine, I have scoured the internet looking for a copy of the manual to either print or buy, but I can't find one.

Is there anyone who has a copy and could scan it for me, or copy it for me or I could borrow and scan myself?

Thank you ever so much.
Dolly x

Have no idea if your VM-B is similar to a VM-C. If so www.lathes.co.uk offers the following:
MM546 MYFORD VM-C Milling Machine (Myford VMC). Operator's Instruction and Maintenance Manual with Parts as Sectional drawings. Includes a copy of the maker's Sales and Specification Catalogue and price lists. £20

Aha! I sent it to that email address on Sunday...the file is about 2 Mbyte, could that be a problem? Anyway I'll re-send it.

Hello John, Still haven't got anything. I wonder if you could send a test email just saying hello to see if we get that? I think a file-sharing site sounds like a good plan if we still have no luck. Sorry for causing you all this extra bother! Thank you. Dolly

Hi, have sent a test message and re-sent the file and uploaded it to a file-sharing site which will email you a link. Something ought to work!

Cheers, John.

P&D Stocks,
Tried to reply to your PM but it won't accept your name, P&D Stocks as valid.

But to answer your question I have received no link.

Not too bothered now as all I will be using are the main castings in fact just sawn the head in two tonight and need to do a bit of welding tomorrow !!

I suppose it would be nice but I'm only using the base, saddle, bed and half a head.
Everything thing else is being replaced.

Could come in useful for adjusting the non Myford gib strips

I too have a VMB. Is there a secret to adjusting the head gib strips?
