![]() 484 forum posts 97 photos | I know this was dicussed some time ago but I can't find the original thread. After fitting the AS-11G cycle computer, did anybody finally establish what the RPM range was? The instructions quote up to 300 rpm which is inadequate for a lathe or mill. I need to know before I take the item back to Wilko's. |

![]() 2376 forum posts 800 photos | I've had mine up to 3200 rpm. The resolution is quite poor at this speed, it goes up in steps of 20 or 30 rpm but I don't consider that to be an issue, the resolution is quite good enough for me. cheers, Rod |

![]() 484 forum posts 97 photos | Well it was all set up today and for the benefit of those lucky people with a Tom Senior M1 mill with a seperate vertical head with quill feed these are the readings I obtained. The drive motor was O.5 HP 4pole and 1420 nominal RPM. The head had a four step poly-vee drive and the readings were taken after 15 sec wait for stabilisation at each step. Results in RPM: 280 500 900 1680 Thanks to those who recommended the Wilko AS-11G cycle computer. Len P. |
