Maybe have a look at the Model Engineer Index to find the exact issues you require.
Then have a word with 'The Tool Box', or any of the other similar advertisers in ME.
An alternative source is ebay.

I have 28Kgs of old ME magazines dating back to 1944 ( And a few 1943 ) to about 1953. Found in the attic of a deceased relative and model engineer. I did start to sort out the years up to 1950. After that they are still in the postal envelopes and I have not even tried to put them in order. If any one out there is interested in them please get in touch as I need the room. And would like them to go to a good home rather than the recycling bin. Give me acall on 07970 154667 oe e-mail me on [email protected]

Hi Lavie,

Do you need the whole magazines or just the articles. My local library has ME back to 1944 and I could scan them for you and put them in a pdf if you get really stuck. Message me if you need help,

regards

Terry

Hi Terryd,
You say your local library has MEs. I assume bound vols. How do you manage to scan them, since when I put a bound vol. on my flatbed, it doesn`t scan whole pages properly as book will not open flat?
regards,

I've got a Triple Expansion Engine part build and need info on how to complete. I understand there is an article, in 7 parts, by Doug English, from issue 3992 to 4004.
If any body has any information, it will be appreciated.

Hi JC1,

I have access to some very specialised equipment.  Also, it pays to have a Masters in Software Engineering Management, teach IT for 18 years and having a wife and daughter  who are both IT managers in international organisations.  Oh yes, and a sister-in-law who is a senior manager in the British and European operations of one of the largest manufacturers of scanning, printing and optical equipment in the world (hint, begins with E and ends in n - 5 letters).  Hows BS by the way.

Best regards

Terry
