Knurling Tools

484 forum posts 97 photos	I have an ancient clamp type knurling tool made by Billings of the U.S.A. The knurls are 3/4" X 1/4" X 1/4" bore. I need to replace them as they are well and truly clapped out but I can't locate a U.K. source of knurls this size. My surfing efforts flag up loads of 3/8" wide knurls but I can't modify the tool to accomodate those as there isn't enough meat on the tool in any case the knurl holder is hardened. Any pointers as to a source would be appreciated. Incidentally I am looking for HSS knurls. . Edited By The Merry Miller on 16/01/2011 14:10:29

883 forum posts 11 photos	Hi you could also try Chronos, they show the diameter and bore size you're after but don't specify the width, choice of patterns as well - worth giving them a ring 01582 471900. Keith
