Hi All
has anybody fitted a DRO system from Allendale (machine DRO) to a RF 25 type vertical mill. I have just ordered a 3 axis one and I am looking for any help on the installation.
Thanks in advance Bob

As I said on HMEM get the covers as its easier to mount the scale to the alloy extrusion than to the machine using the unsightly brackets.

As the RF25 is about the same sort of size as the X3 The slim scales will fit better.

If you want pics of teh X&Y on my X3 let me know

There is quite a bit of info on this US suppliers site
