Unless somebody else can give a definitive answer before then. Edited By V8Eng on 16/04/2010 20:43:58 |

1826 forum posts 1 photos | Just a thought: are you looking to replace an original stud?
Thread size might depend on whether you have actual Myford blocks. Possibly also depend on age of machine involved. Edited By V8Eng on 16/04/2010 21:40:28 |

1017 forum posts 14 photos | Mine are 25odd year old originals. The hold down bolts (long studs) are 5/16 BSF - both ends The hollow jacking screws are .525 dia across the threads. They are imperial fine but not enough is showing to count the threads. I was expecting 1/2 BSF. The spanner flats fit the original 5/16 whit spanner but the threads are nowhere near coarse enough for Whit. I'm afraid the raising blocks don't feature in my parts list. Give Myfords a bell on Monday. They aren't open Fri pm or Sat am 0115 925 4222 |
