I have posted 3 photos of Sndown Park exhibition.
They were taken late at night so are a bit dark.
Will try to post some more in the morning.(Saturday).

Regarding our wager, technically you should have won and I owe you a tea, but I had a word with a Sandown man and he informed me that the show organisers did not ask for the cloakroom facilities to be laid on! The cloakroom is a normal part of their services and was available if you (myhobbystore) had asked for it .
Still, a good show, and a better venue than Ascot, despite the traffic problems. Perhaps now that you are back at Sandown, some more of the traders will rejoin the fold.
I do have to wonder if the middle of December is the best time for the exhibition. Surely there would be more interest in the summer months when people don't feel like curling up and hibernating, or is that just me?
I think a round of thanks must go to all the unsung heroes who organised the event, and in particular to Stuart Walker of SMEE for his part in the proceedings.
Nice to have met you again and see you next year.

I really enjoyed MEX. I started taking ME when still @ school, way back in June `62! Think I have probably seen most ME XBNS since soon after that time.
I have been asked if Peter Fagg won anything for his LSWR engine, but I cannot remember if he did. Can you please confirm? Thanks.
Regards,
John. |
