I have recently acquired  a part build MAISIE 31/2" from my late father in NZ. We started it in Uganda in late 50s the tender and running gear are almost complete. The main work ahead is the boiler and painting.

I have a copy of LBSCs book but there is no refernce to the colour scheme and all my pictures of GNR locos are B&W.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maise is finished in Green, but there is GNR Green, and LNER Green in various shades, if you look Here you will see what's available.

Suggest you search using

Henry Oakley atlantic
GNR atlantic

etc. as search term and setting search to        images

Also in addition try searching

Maisie
GNR Atlantic

etc. on you tube as there are a number of videos there.

Some good pictures of Maisie, but with due respect the long URLs need to be reduced,
see this post.
David Carter 1 tells you how to do it in his post also of
11/06/2009 here
