warco vs lathe

Hi Can anyone provide a source for a handbook for a Warco GH 1224 VS lathe a friend has just purchased one of these and the handbook is a joke.

It can't be that number, either its a GH (geared head) or VS (Variable Speed) either way the manuals are pants if the one that came with my 280V-F are anything to go by.
 
These lathes are all quite similar and I have heard people say that Grizzly in the USA have better manuals that can be downloaded.

and follow the trail to the Grizzly 4000 lathe manual.  Its only 2.63Mb pdf file.  If it looks like your friend's lathe - Robert is your mother's brother!

Thanks guys that info is really helpful, by the way it says "GH 1224 VS" on the head stock!!!! so perhaps it was converted or something

The VS version of the GH1224 is fitted with an inverter drive and is an updated model of the GH1224. So it has the advantages of a geared head and the variable speed that an inverter driven system gives.
 
If you have queries or problems, Give Warco a call, they are extremely helpful and friendly.
