7 forum posts 1 photos | Hello, I have just bought a Myford ML2 I think. It came with a very old motor. The specifications on the motor are HP1/4, volts 220, amps 2.6, cycles 50, revolutions 1450. I do not like the look of the wiring so I have a spare motor rated at Amps 1.5, HP 1/3, revolutions 1420, HZ50, volts 230. Would this be a suitable replacement for the old motor?
Thanks |

A very easy direct replacement that has transformed my work on the lathe by being able to dial in any chuck speed for tapping, turning and polishing. |

Thanks Yes depending on the motor spindle size matching. |
