261 forum posts 117 photos | Hi all, Ive finally managed to get my PM Research No 4 nearing completion and running on air. Video here https://youtu.be/e2f2Lar4r8M I still have drip feed oilers to make for the stand, probably similar to the other 2 and was also thinking about a lid for them. This was definitely a challenge to machine especially the stand. I will probably put the flywheel back on the lathe and redo it as I`m not happy with the finish and see about improving it. There is also a bit of wobble on the fly wheel due to the crank not being perfect but I will blame it on it being in 5 pieces and a pain to get true. |
