Yet another silly email from someone brain dead at Mort - ons. Surely, with anything and everything is on 'puter, it can't be that difficult to exclude the email from the 'converted' - existing subscribers. As a life long subscriber I don't need to "pre - order" the 14th July issue.

Come on someone at M wake up!

Is it being sent to the same e-mail as your subscription uses as I only get the pre order one on an old e-mail address that now has no connection with my subscription so 'putre assumes I may want to order/subscribe again.

As I said previously there is a "unsubscribe" option to opt out of getting the e-mail in the future

Hi, or you can just delete it like I have.

Regards Nick.

How can you "pre-order" (or "pre-book" anything anyway, unless you're a Time Lord?

(I think I even saw a "pre-bought" on some advert the other day!)

Hi Nigel Graham 2, I guess it means you can order it before it is published.

Regards Nick.

Pre order these days tends to be used where items are not yet available, think of it as putting your name down on a waiting list.

Allows the seller to judge how many to produce and can help with funding by getting money in sooner.

Nigel is right. The 'pre' is what happens before the 'order'. You order something which isn't currently available.

Martin.
