Strange Small Castings?

1129 forum posts 1 photos	Hi All, Just picked up a small auction ;lot which has a lot (30+) of these small brass or bronze castings in it. Came from a guitar place but am assured these are NOT guitar items. My first thought was thumbscrews for marking gauges etc but they are too short? Anyone have any thoughts please? Cheers, Martin

1129 forum posts 1 photos	The flat side diameter is slightly wider than the other side, a slight taper from bottom to top. Assured that they are NOT tuning pegs. MMMM???

115 forum posts 1 photos	I think they're old-style adjustable shelf supports. Small end goes in holes in the vertical sides, shelf sits on top of the 'disc' bit.
