I have been lurking on this site for some time understanding the engineering details and totally bemused by star windings 3d printing etc.

To get to the point I have made an RLE engine and Stuart beam and 5a but I am now at the age when I might be called away unexpectedly, I am considerably older that the gentleman who said that he was quitting at 80.

I would like to make another engine from bar stock, reason being if I do not finish it the heirs and assassins will only have some chunks of metal to dispose of.

I fancy building Howells Farm Boy or Bill , Does any one have any experience of these? The Nemett engine does not seem to run slowly enough for me.

Any other suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Hi Rodney welcome to the forum. I made the pottymill engine which is a free on line download and is made from bar stock.
